Get ready for a laugh with Vermillion Players’ final show of the summer season, Greater Tuna! This skewering of southern culture, where the Lion’s Club is too liberal and Patsy Cline never dies features just three actors playing twenty characters. With characters from Vera Carp – the richest woman in town, to RR Snavely – a soon-to-be alien abductee, this cornucopia of small-town Texas life will have audiences laughing ‘til their sides split. Actors include Alexa Bennet, Colton Cottrell, and Joe Gilmor. It is directed by G. William Zorn, assistant directed by Chloe Clayton, and produced by Dan Schweizer and Alisha Prunty.
Tickets can be purchased at the door each evening with cash or check; $12 for adults, $10 for seniors, and $6 for children ages 6-12. Shows are at 7:30 each night August 4-7 with doors opening at 7:00. Please note: while satiric in nature, this show contains sensitive content that may be offensive to some viewers.
“Greater Tuna” is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals on behalf of Samuel French, Inc. www.concordtheatricals.com
